I am looking to recruit a PhD student to work on seawater carbonate chemistry modeling and reconstruction of past changes in ocean acidity and atmospheric CO2. This project is aimed to improve our understanding of the role of the global carbon cycle in driving past climates. This summer I moved with my family from England to California to start a faculty position at UCSC Earth and Planetary Sciences.
